POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
 
The Administrator - Oracle Fusion Middleware will be responsible for installation, configuration and production support of all the components of Oracle Fusion Middleware technology stack. This role will work closely with various cross functional IT teams and ensure smooth ongoing operation ofOracle Fusion Middleware technologies. In addition, this role will coordinate with business analysts, developers, and Database Administrators to ensure optimal solutions, performance and reliability of the Oracle Fusion Middleware components (e.g. SOA, ADF applications) and Data integration amongst disparate systems. This position will also closely co-ordinate and work with Middleware team members.
 
 
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 
 
  • Provide shift and non-shift support for Oracle Fusion Middleware tech stack and infrastructure (including: ADF based applications).
  • Build and support all different components of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g and 12c, viz, SOA, OSB, BPM, ODI, ADF applications, including the WebLogic App server and related Oracle 11g and 12c Database. 
  • Required to support mission critical systems in a 24X7 Highly Available (clustered) environment.
  • Build highly scalable and available Web Services backbone for the organization.
  • Performance test planning & execution and tuning of Fusion Middleware products, including WebLogic, SOA, JRockit / JDK and Coherence.
  • Hands-on administration and configuration for multiple WebLogic domains; supporting full Software Development Lifecycle for several projects.
  • Implement monitoring tools and techniques for Fusion Middleware components, particularly SOA and OSB services.
  • Support multiple integration projects in the middleware space, troubleshoot middle-tier issues and assist developers on infrastructure related issues.
  • Install new middleware software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve middleware software related problems 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Skills:
 
  • Advanced technical skillset with Oracle SOA & ADF environments, with high availability & DR.
  • Advanced knowledge configuring, monitoring, tuning WebLogic domains in Cluster and high availability environment.
  • Proficiency with tuning work managers, data-sources & JVMs on WebLogic server.
  • Strong understanding of SSO and WebCenter.
  • Excellent skills on JVM and its memory management, tuning, diagnostics and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Java development and Web technologies.
  • Familiarity in Oracle Databases and RAC – 11g and 12c.
  • Proficiency with Unix / Linux with strong Shell scripting experience.
  • Strong understanding with WLST scripting.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines
  • Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with other team members to carry out project deliverables.

Experience:
 
  • 3 years’ experience in Technology/IT industry.
  • 3 years’ experience with WebLogic 
  • 2 years’ experience Oracle SOA Suite / Fusion administration.
  • Must have direct experience with an end-to-end large integration project in Oracle Fusion Middleware with core responsibility in the role of Technical Architect and as Oracle SOA Suite Administrator.
  • Experience on SOA,OSB & ADF applications
 
Education:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a field related.
 
 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
  • Any certification from Oracle or J2EE
