POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Lab Coordinator will coordinate internal and external physical, chemical and microbiological tests for both inner and outer nutritional products for the quality control lab. This position will also provide administrative support for lab activities including but not limited to supply ordering and lab invoice handling.
 
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Coordinate internal and external chemical and physical analysis of lab samples.
  • Coordinate lab administrative activities.
  • Handling lab quotes, orders and invoices routinely.
  • Log in samples from internal and external customers into LIMS system and create associated documentation.
  • Document and summarize daily sample received, sample logged in, and backlog for sample logging in.
  • Under the supervision of lab Director, prioritize the sample tests and input outside test results into LIMS and coordinate with LIMS analyst to distribute the outside test results to the test requester.
  • Reviews product certificates of analysis for accuracy and conformance and maintain C of A files.
  • Support and coordinate lab activities for a safe, clean and efficient laboratory.
  • Notarizing Herbalife documents for both internal and external usages.

Experience:
 
  • Previous experience in an office or laboratory administrative environment.
  • Experience in handling administrative functions such as obtaining quotes, filling out sample submission forms, handling invoices, and distribution documents (test results).
 
 
Education:
 
  • High school diploma with 5 years of administration experience or BS degree with 2 years of administration experience.
 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Previous cGMP regulation and compliance knowledge
  • Nutraceutical laboratory work experience
  • Previous experience in handling sample and invoice administration.
