This position leads the activities on all logistical facets of a diverse portfolio of events as assigned, working with internal stakeholders to ensure that strategic objectives are met, budget targets are met or exceeded, and internal customer satisfaction is high. This person can work with minimal supervision and is responsible to make and establish a wide range of critical decisions, working closely as part of an overall high performance team.




  • Manage all aspects, details, and coordination of events from inception through on-site execution
  • Identifies outside vendors on sub-events and initiates bid and RFP process within corporate compliance guidelines. Liaise and coordinate with vendors, Independent Contractors, Destination Management Companies and other event partners.
  • Develops and manages the budget process in cooperation with worldwide finance partners and responsible for budget reconciliation post-event.
  • Manages the contract process at inception, working with director of operations and Herbalife Nutrition’s legal department
  • Interface with various stakeholders to provide the proper environment for content delivery and event execution
  • Venue research, comparisons, and primary pre- and on-site liaison with hotels and other event venues
  • Leads, directs, manages all logistical aspects and details of corporate event portfolio assignments including venue negotiation, budget management, catering, hotels/room blocks, transportation, executive participation, signage, registration, special events, product launch fulfillment and/or distribution
  • Manages the execution of special meetings within an overall event for corporate and regional groups
  • Continue to assist with developing staff while identifying specific talents that can assist the region.

  • Ability to negotiate/read hotel contracts and attend/plan various site inspections
  • Travel is required and is 30% of the job function

  • Proficient in Mac and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Mac skills are a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically/international 30% of the time and the ability to work overtime when needed.


  • 7 years of event/meeting planning experience             
  • 2 years of Project Management
  • 3 years of experience in contract and resource management


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Communications OR equivalent required experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Event management within a direct selling environment
  • Proficient in the Herbalife Nutrition marketing plan
  • English/Spanish Bilingual
  • College degree with a focus on hospitality management
  • Continuing education in meeting management equivalent certification (CMP, CMM)
