Required Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work overtime and travel

  • Strong negotiating, budgeting, and financial control skills

  • Ability to adapt as the environment and organization evolves.
  • Ability to negotiate/read hotel contracts and attend/plan various site inspections
  • Travel is required and is 30% of the job function
  • Strong customer and results orientation
  • Quick thinking, accurate, hands-on, stress tolerant and intuitive problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding collaboration and team management skills.
  • Strong management skills with an ability to motivate and provide clear direction to team members.
  • Ability to interact with sr. level executives and top-tier Members.
  • Proficient in Mac and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Mac skills are a plus
  • Ability to travel domestically/international 30% of the time and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Experience:

  • 7 years of event/meeting planning experience             
  • 2 years of Project Management
  • 3 years of experience in contract and resource management

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Communications OR equivalent required experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Event management within a direct selling environment
  • Proficient in the Herbalife Nutrition marketing plan
  • English/Spanish Bilingual
  • College degree with a focus on hospitality management
  • Continuing education in meeting management equivalent certification (CMP, CMM)
