POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
 
The Project Specialist, Operations (WS) will work in a cross-functional environment to assist various departments with requests to revise existing products. The person selected for this role will analyze Product Revision Requests (PRR) and gather all necessary information and approvals from cross functional teams to allow executive management to approve or reject the change.  In addition this person will be responsible for creating projects in Agile, attend/organize meetings, and streamline activates with other departments to complete the product revision project in a timely manner.
 
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 
  • Analyze change requests prior to routing for approvals and initiate projects.
  • Continually create and manage Projects by identifying project dependencies and critical paths
  • Identify risks associated with project changes such as regulatory timing and sales fluctuations and escalate risks to cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Build rapport and gain commitment from key cross-functional global team members to ensure tasks are completed.
  • Drive projects through all stages of development from concept to availability at local distribution centers.
  • Track the flow of SKU changes and assist in problem solving by developing satisfying solutions.
  • Manage all product revision requests and projects to ensure business processes are maintained and priorities are met.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Skills:
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workload for effective implementation under general supervision
  • Team player able to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Ability to adapt as the external environment and as organization evolves
  • Proficiency in Windows, Outlook, MS Word, Excel and Adobe
Experience:
  • 5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain product lifecycle management application environment
  • 3 years’ experience in managing projects 
Education:
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Clear understanding of Product Lifecycle management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Experience working in Agile Product Lifecycle Management environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • APICS Certification
