POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

 

The Regional Nutrition Club Ambassador, North America (NAM), will work closely with Herbalife Independent Distributors with the primary objective of educating/training them on Herbalife rules and assisting in bring any issues identified to correction. The Ambassador will do this by visiting Nutrition Clubs in the database, building relationships and training at events (corporate and independent) and working with the Distributor through final corrections (case file) if applicable.

 

This is a work from home position and will require frequent travel. 

 

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

  • Perform proactive and complaint visits to Non-Residential Nutrition Clubs, Distributor Offices and/or Fit Clubs to train, coach and correct issues identified based on Herbalife’s Nutrition Club Rules. This includes the completion and review of the visit checklist through an iPad application and physical form.
  • Follow up on non-compliant Ambassador and/or 3rd party visits by opening a case file to work with the Distributor with the goal of bringing the Club into compliance.
  • Conduct trainings (stage, independent, organizational and one on one) to educate our Distributors.
  • Schedule one on one and group meetings with Distributors from all marketing levels to assist with DS facing tools and mandatory trainings required by Herbalife.
  • Conduct covert purchases to identify Distributor(s) who are not in compliance with Herbalife’s rules.
  • Assist Back Office Associates in resolving Club issues by visiting the Club with the goal of collecting the required information and/or photos.
  • Support corporate and independent Distributor events (i.e. Success Training Seminars, Leadership Development Trainings, Extravaganzas, etc.), and other assigned events including end of the month at the Distribution Center to promote company initiatives and answer questions; setup and support through an MPC Booth
  • Answer and make necessary calls to support Distributors with all compliance related questions.
  • Organize and support with government official visits.
  • Receive and submit Complaints to Intake Team for follow up
  • Prepare training presentations to share at events and meetings. Including obtaining approval from Legal.
  • Participate and train in monthly President’s Team and Tab Team meetings to provide company updates, share statistics for the region.
  • Maintain the Nutrition Club database by updating required details including registering new and found Clubs.
  • Serve as the liaison between Corporate and Distributors
  • Communicate regularly  with the Regional Sales Specialist in their region to share regional trends/issues  to create alignment within the region
  • Support Sales initiatives including sales promotions
  • Support with verification calls for the 3rd party visitor program
  • Support user acceptance testing for Distributor facing and internal systems
  • Support and execute corporate initiatives
  • Perform various duties upon business needs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Skills:

  • Must be flexible to adapt to business needs
  • Must have their own reliable car with up-to-date driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Bilingual – must be fluent in Spanish and have strong speaking and writing skills
  • Strong Customer Orientation—ability to problem solve and gain trust across multiple functions
  • Must be self-motivated and enthusiastic to work in the field and on the road
  • Must be diplomatic and be able to deal with Herbalife Distributors at all levels professionally
  • An ability to gain a basic working knowledge of and familiarity with the Rules of Conduct, Business Marketing Plan, regulatory requirements and intellectual property rights
  • Problem-solving skills with ability to accurately detail and summarize information
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize time and work consistently to achieve established goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with a team player disposition
  • Professional communication skills (written and oral);communicate effectively with Distributors management, and cross-functional departments
  • Ability to prioritize projects and adapt to change quickly while working in a fast pace environment
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity and manage different personalities
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and growing environment and quickly tackle dynamic challenges

Experience:

  • 4 years customer service skills
  • Previous experience in public speaking to/training groups

Education:

  • High School Diploma

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years prior experience with independent Distributors
  • Basic knowledge of Herbalife’s Marketing Plan and products
  • 2 years prior experience in the Member Business Practices and Compliance dept.(MPC)
  • 2 years prior experience in a direct-selling or network marketing company
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 year public speaking skills
