POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

 

The Sr. Analyst, Agile Processes, will work as a member of the Agile Systems and Processes team to support business process leadership for a global single instance of the Agile PLM system. This is a key position responsible for ensuring the Agile system becomes a valued tool for the business. This role will support a team responsible for the effective and compliant improvement of the system and processes through design, compilation, and analysis of key performance indicators and reporting, process mapping and analysis, creating and maintaining business process models, identifying procedural and control gaps, and designing, recommending, validating, and implementing related solutions.  The position requires direct coordination and collaboration with business units, cross-functional teams, management personnel and supporting resources.

 

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 

 

  • Maintain business processes to support product development through the entire lifecycle.
  • Liaise with business users, management, the Global Operations team, the IS team, and solution consultants to ensure that Herbalife continues to use the PLM system effectively, in accordance with the vision and requirements of the Global Operations team and in accordance with the policies and procedures of the IS department.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to gather business process requirements.
  • Develop and lead process design and improvement initiatives, requiring process expertise for multiple business groups and coordination and collaboration with cross-functional teams of internal and external personnel.
  • Provide complex process analysis and identify procedural and control gaps
  • Coordinate and specify functional testing to validate processes
  • Support the use of Herbalife’s Agile Business Intelligence (BI Analytics) software, ensuring that it is appropriately maintained, supported and effectively used.
  • Ensure that users are trained in Agile and in BI Analytics and that the organization is making valuable use of its capabilities.
  • Regularly meet with the user community to prioritize process improvement review, planning and implementation.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly updates to the Sr Manager, Agile Processes; escalate unresolved issues in a timely manner.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Skills:

  • Exceptional understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and processes related to product development lifecycles and change controls for product formulas in a GMP/FDA regulated environment.
  • Solid understanding of business needs as they relate to product-related data, product formulas, product development, product costs and utilizing analytical software to measure performance and control processes
  • Able to influence people from all functions to ensure consistent processes and adherence to controls
  • Strong data management and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the capability to accurately and concisely summarize information
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and meet firm deadlines
  • Self-motivated, and with the ability to properly prioritize projects
  • Excellent relationship building, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Track record as a member of a team that ensures accurate, timely, well controlled information, data, processes and systems.
  • Solid proficiency of Microsoft Office - Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Visio

 

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with systems and processes related to Product Development, Product Management and/or Information Technology, ideally within the global pharmaceutical, nutritional supplement or CPG manufacturing arenas
  • Track record of delivering process and control improvements
  • Project management experience
  • Experience developing and leading process design or improvement initiatives and training
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies and use of analytical tools for measuring and reporting of metrics

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, information technology, or business 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 years of systems and business operations experience in the pharmaceutical/nutritional industry
  • Certification in business process management / reengineering / improvement, Lean or Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum Methodologies
  • Proven track record with the use of Agile PLM and its individual modules PC, PPM, PQM, BI / OPLA, and Oracle EBS in both functional and technical environments
  • Agile Product Life Cycle Management/ERP software implementation
