POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
 
The Sr. Developer – Oracle SCM will be responsible for collaborating with functional analysts to translate business and integration requirements into configurable component designs and solutions. This role assumes ownership of application maintenance and utilizes technical proficiency and the ability to work effectively with other technical or non-technical personnel and internal customers to provide responsive and high-quality support to this global application.
 
 
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: 
 
  • Design and develop technical solutions to a pre-defined requirement and develop components including extensions, views, customizations, modifications, reports, and workflows independently or as a part of a team.
  • Code, unit test, implement and support enterprise application software and solutions across production, enhancements and special projects
  • Meet service level agreements for production support response and resolution.
  • Enhance performance in the Applications environment. Tuning code, reviewing table and applying indexes were needed.
  • Adhere to standards related to documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards.
  • Contribute to a cooperative environment that fosters knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Skills:
 
  • Advanced technical skill with Oracle Supply Chain Management modules (Including: OM, Shipping, INV, WIP, BOM, PO, WMS, ASCP, Demantra, and iProcurement)
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Workflow 2.x, Forms and Reports 6i
  • Proficiency in BI Publisher, ADF frameworks,  and Jdeveloper
  • Strong understanding of relational databases (including tables, views, indexes, table spaces etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and the ability to successfully translate business requirements into ERDs
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Standard Oracle EBS 11r  API’s
  • In-depth knowledge of applications code registration procedures
  • Good working knowledge in Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • Ability to identify system impact for small and large scale initiatives
  • Effective writing and diagramming skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity.
 
 
Experience:
 
  • 5 years of experience in IT/Technology industry
  • 3 years of experience in Oracle application development
  • 3 years of experience with SQL (advance queries, tuning) and PL/SQL.
  • 2 years of development experience in an 11i/R12 Oracle Applications environment is a must, including knowledge in using Oracle Application Object Library (AOL/FND).
  • 2 years of experience with ADF  or Angular JS
  • Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS Applications
  • Experience with change management tools and processes, including source code control, versioning, branching, defect tracking and release management.
     
 
Education:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a field related.
 
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Skills:
 
  • Proficiency with MS Project/Visio/etc…
  • Proficiency in Java and C/C++ a plus.
  • Solid experience with web services (Java, AIA, SOA oracle fusion middleware)
  • XML (DOM manipulation, SAX parsing, XPATH, XSLT)
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

 
Experience:  
 
  • Experience with international or multi-level marketing business
  • Experience with complex, multi-national application implementations
