The Warehouse  Lead assists the Warehouse Supervisor by overseeing the daily warehouse operations for their assigned shift.  This position is responsible for up to 15 warehouse employees and making sure that everyone is trained, adhering to company policies, working safely and achieving departmental standards and goals. 
  • Oversee the daily shift operation of a multi-shift warehouse
  • Coordinate with the Receiving Coordinator, and the Shipping Coordinator for inbound & outbound freight movements
  • Licensed forklift driver
  • Assist Supervisor in the training and direction of warehouse employees in the equipment and process of the warehouse.
  • Promote a safe work environment, including verification of daily forklift checklists being performed.
  • Immediately report any equipment issues to the department supervisor or maintenance department.
  • Make sure warehouse personnel are adhering to company policies & procedures
  • Collaborate with other warehouse shift leads to maximize warehouse efficiencies
  • Foster team work, on the shift, as well as between shifts & cross functionally
  • Ensure inventory accuracy & timely transactions
  • Direct the daily workload of warehouse employees
  • Make sure all warehouse equipment is in safe operating condition & receives regular maintenance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control & materials warehouse processes
  • Ability to conduct transactions on computer and barcode scanners
  • Ability to interface with all levels, departments & shifts
  • Licensed in the operation of forklifts
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to resolve problems 
  • Three years warehouse experience
  • One year experience leading others 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in an FDA regulated cGMP manufacturing environment
  • AA Degree
